Silver Trim vs. Platinum Trim

That really stinks, and doesn't strike me as "platinum" more like silver perhaps? Since this isn't Chrysler's top of the line appointment, in fact, it's a hybrid powertrain but with sub-par features. Auto-dimming mirrors, memory seats, even homelink? Who sells a minivan for $44+ without a garage door opener built in? It's actually more like pyrite than silver now that I think about it.

I am sure all of these "missing" features were a tough decision based on a balance between cost and weight - l am really surprised it kept power ventilated seats. I questioned why the Chevy Volt didn't have power seats (new one loses the homelink) and a little more size. I still picked one up. I will probably buy a Pacifica hybrid as soon as I get a chance to test drive one. It will be that or a new Volt. Has anyone heard weather all states will get these around the same time? Or will it be like almost every new electric vehicle now - heavy role out in California and certain other states then slowly work toward the rest of us.

I saw in a recent thread that the 3rd-row seats recline. I did not know this! That's pretty awesome. I went outside to try it out and they recline pretty far. My wife was just complaining during our 6 hours trip that the 3rd-row seats were uncomfortable and that she wished they reclined. This helps us out a lot for our road trip to Florida. She will be pleased. :smile2:

We have the Touring L Plus so we don't have the fancy auto reclining seats. But that's okay. We can just leave them in a reclined position. No one really wants to sit straight up anyway.
