Hybrid pacifica ordering in Canada?

Has anyone tried to order a hybrid pacifica in Canada yet, specifically Ontario? I have a 2017 pacifica limited now and with the $14000 rebate I want to trade it in now so I don't loose to much on the trade and get some money back. Also everywhere i look it say the $price is like $44000 for a loaded pacifica hybrid + tax. My Question is the rebate is from the government after you buy the vehicle so you would technically be paying tax on the $56495 + freight cdn and then the $14000 would come off that which would make the price really $51867 out the door. Am I Right on this math or does the ontario $14000 rebate come off first? and then the taxes added on?

I tried to order the Pacifica PHEV platinum in Calgary today. They told me full price $58,000. No incentives in alberta. They also said couldn't guarantee delivery date yet. Likely in late February to March.

Very challenging to confirm all the trim details for Canada. The Platinum is not quite as fully loaded as the Limited.

They gave me a printed features sheet for the platinum that includes hands-free liftgate and doors which was thought to be left out by some. Also lists 2nd/3rd row window shades included.

Seems to be missing driver's memory, missing 360 camera. Missing all the advanced safety tec pack. Anybody get more info specific to Canada?

I have a dealer powerpoint brochure printout I received yesterday that says "advanced safety tec" included in Platinum, but not Premium. 360 camera listed inside the advanced safety tec group. I do not see the memory seat as you say. I will try to capture the 30 pages into a PDF soon and upload it as it has a lot of great info and answers so many questions we had.

I am in the US, Maryland to be exact.

Tried to upload it here, but max size is 20KB. Seems a bit small, no? Then made a dropbox public link, but got hit with "your post count must be greater" than my current 3 posts. If there is a mod that can allow me to post links, I will, otherwise will do it when I hit the needed post count, whatever that is?

Yeah I would love to see that too. Are you able to PM the Dropbox link. Even though you are in the US I'm hoping Platinum is the same both sides of the border. There must be another way to do this.

Just ordered a 2017 pacifica hybrid today, Ontario Canada. The dealer knew nothing about the government rebates . The price I got was at dealer invoice which is $59250 plus tax. Thats with the sunroof. So Im pretty sure the rebate will come after, so I will be paying tax on the $59250 first then the rebate of $14000 back from the government. Luckily I'm trading in a 17 pacifica limited which should get me back $54000. AS for options I asked to see if black seats were available and they are not. Only option was the sunroof. Dealer says it should be here sometime in January.

So I called the ministry of transportation today and anyone in Ontario that is buying a pacifica should note that do not take possession of the vehicle until the website puts it on there list of eligible vehicle for the incentive. The lady says that chrysler has applied for the incentive program and it should be approved by the end of January. If you pick it up before it goes on there list you will not be eligiable for the $14000 incentive. Also you have to purchase the vehicle first before you can apply for the incentive, which means for example the pacifica I ordered fully loaded with the sunroof is $58250 plus tax which is $65822.50. Then you would get back $14000 (which takes 10-12 weeks to process) which would make the final price $51822.50. Now she did say that at the bottom of the form you can sign the incentive over to the dealer and the dealer would be able to take that off the purchase price then add your tax. But she says most dealers won't do that because they would have to wait the 12weeks to get the money back. SO if you have a good relationship with your dealer you might be able to convince them into doing that for you.

Also the $1000 incentive for the home charger works the same way. You have to wait until the vehicle is in there incentive lists and then apply after you purchase the van. She also told me make sure the charger brand is on the list of eligible chargers, as they have to be of canadian origin. Cant buy it from the states or anywhere else.

I'd look at buying the charger separately.
I don't know the canadian laws, but I'd look at that list of eligible chargers (EVSE). I'd look for ones that are 9.6kW (40A@240V). And I'd buy that.
I bought my openEVSE for $450USD - probably the "eligible" ones for you are more expensive, but $1000CAD is pretty generous IMO.
