Time to build car.

I ordered my car the very end of 2016 and had a VIN on Jan 3rd.
Called Chrysler today and was told the car is on the line being built.
The rep could not tell me if it takes 2 days or 2 months to build a car.
Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to go from on the line to finished?
Thanks!

Normally a week from start of frame to shipped but with the phev, it may be longer depending on the build.

2017 Pacifica Limited - Dark Cordovan/Alloy

14-20 hours on the line from framing to rolling off. Not including line programming, testing, and any rework if necessary.

Are all the hybrids being built in the same place? If so, where is that? Since the van for me would need to be sent by boat from west coast to Hawaii (about a week or so on a boat) I hope wherever it's made doesn't take long a train to get to the boat yard. Don't you just love waiting to get something new?

All pacificas (including all hybrids) are built in Ontario, Canada.

Did your Pacifica get built that week? How many weeks before it arrived for delivery?

Mine was built Dec 15th, got call from my salesman while on the road north to Michigan from Florida on the 19th telling me that my vehicle was being unloaded off the truck. Arrived in the Detroit area on the 20th, and picked up the vehicle on the 21st. My salesman was holding another vehicle for me just in case the one I ordered didn't come in in time. I was very pleased that I got a fresh one, because I didn't know the build date on the one he was holding. To clarify Pacificas are built in Windsor Ontario, and my dealership is about 20-25 miles from the factory, so I was very pleased the way it all played out.
