Whatever 87 octane you used in your previous vehicle should work just fine in your new ride.

I try and stick with costco gas and they match the lowest station in the area when I'm home. but when we travel i check for top tier stations

I had a car once that didn't like one convenience store chain in the area. Just the one car, just the one chain. It didn't mind any other gas and none of our other cars minded that chain.

Just use gas. If your van doesn't like something, you'll learn and avoid it. I've only ever had that one problem, though, and I expect it's one more than most people ever have.
