Latest problem, paint bubbling on edge of hood

As the title says, I've found the latest problem with our Pacifica, paint is bubbling at the bottom edge of the hood over the grill. No repaint, no chip or impact point. Never seen anything like this on a modern vehicle. Popped up within 3 weeks or so. I will post a pic...

Anybody have a similar issue?

use the magnifying glass at the upper right corner of this site. Click on it and type in paint, or hood, or rust, or corrosion.
You will see how many posts there are about this.

This is a known problem and should be taken care of under warranty. Make an appointment with your dealer. Here is one link for you.

@SWPacLim , I had that problem as did many others. Back in Sept, I was given a new repainted hood, and everything has been fine since. The problem is known by FCA and they are taking care of it.

From what I read , they have stopped replacing hood under warranty and only authorizing repairs/ paint.

Hello SWPacLim,

We're sorry to hear you're experiencing this with your paint. Are you planning on making your servicing dealer aware? Send us a direct message if we can be of any assistance with that process.

It will get worse. It will creep all the way around the hood if you let it go.
