What's particular concerning are the 12 pages worth of complaints for the pacifica on arfc. org

I can't post links because I don't have enough posts but there are more than 12 pages of complaints
Thant's because the Odyclub doesn't have sub forums like this forum does. So it tends to hide the problem posts. The odyclub is just one big free for all forum. You'll love the Pac, if you decide to get one!

Where as the the 2018 and 2017 Odyssey's don't fill out a page combined.

If anyone can help enlighten me to make my decision easier or point at a flaw in my thought process please do.

Thank you.
I checked out that arfc.org site and noticed that, in some instances, a single issue is repeated multiple times in various categories that may account for some of the numerous pages of issues. Also, reading through some of the complaints there are a few that almost seem to not be relevant. For instance, there was an issue on the Wheels section relating to faulty suspension components on a mobility modified vehicle. Not sure this is necessarily an FCA problem or one with the aftermarket components the 3rd party used to modify it.

Anyways, my personal experience with this vehicle has been overwhelmingly positive and leaves me with no regrets about trading in my '13 Odyssey for my Pac. Honda has been riding on its reputation of reliability and quality for quite some time now and, for the most part, buyers seem more than willing to pay a premium for it. I was one of those willing to pony-up for the legendary Honda build quality when we got our '13 back in the fall of '12. My ownership experience, and from the looks of the Odyclub forum and others like Piloteers, I'm not convinced that the Honda of old exists anymore nor is it quite as deserving of this reputation as they once were. But that's just me...and honestly either way you go you'll end up with a very nice family hauler. Ultimately it's what you feel comfortable with laying down your hard-earned $$ on with the fewest sleepless nights. Whatever you decide, good luck with it and I truly hope you enjoy it.

This is the setup I use. It makes loading and unloading kids very easy.

Regarding reliability concerns, I bought the lifetime mopar warranty. With the deals you can get on the Pacifica vs the Odyssey you can get a better equipped Pacifica and the warranty for less than or equal to an Odyssey.

A fun fact: Chrysler/Dodge sold 314000 minivans in 2007 vs Honda's 173000. Today there are over 600 Hondas for sale on cars.com and fewer than 400 Chryslers/Dodges. Does it mean that many of them can't survive for 10 years?

Or people don't sell their Chryslers/Dodge because they are happy with them?

Or the Chrysler & Dodges don't last long enough to be on the market 10 years later?

I wanted to check other years to get a more meaningful picture, but the sales data for older years is harder to come by.
