low antifreeze

I noticed that my antifreeze is below the minimum line on the reservoir (see pic). From the little research I've done, it seems that the factory installed pink antifreeze is supposed to last 10yrs/150k miles and is a different formula than the mopar oat ms-12106 antifreeze we can buy. In addition, it seems that antifreeze cannot be mixed, the system must be purged before a different formula is put in or significant damage can result.

Can anyone confirm if the factory antifreeze is available anywhere so I can top this off? My local dealer is booking appointments a few weeks out and with some pending road trips, I'd prefer not to wait that long. I'm hoping I've misunderstood something and the antifreeze I need to add is readily available.

Thanks, Jon

I plugged in the year, make, and model of a Pacifica on the Amazon site, and received a message that it was not meant for the Pacifica. CAUTION.

Visited dealer today to purchase antifreeze.
Part# is 68163849AB, 50/50 premix, $22, and color matches the factory antifreeze.
Manual clearly specifies OAT type

Interesting, I just bought some of the same antifreeze and the color does NOT match the factory. Please see the attached picture. The purple is from the new bottle, the orange is from the factory.

Checked the coolant level about a month ago and it was just below the min. level on the coolant tank. Then took it to my local dealer, who added coolant up to the max. line. Then over the new few weeks it dropped down again, so I checked and saw some dried pink coolant in the engine bay cover. Took the van to the dealer, and it was confirmed that the radiator had a very small leak. The dealer got a new radiator the next day, and called to say it would take up to 2 work days to install. Seems they had never replaced one yet and thought in would be done the day they got the new radiator. Yet to get it back, and wonder how much needs to be removed from the car to replace the radiator. Still under warranty at 22,000 miles and have a lifetime Mopar extended warranty. Wow, it might be $1,000 job for a new radiator. Warranty covered the rental in the time the van is in the shop.

low antifreeze

Got my vehicle 3 days ago and just checked the coolant level. It is exactly at the min level. It's a touring-L. Is this normal?

Can I use one from the walmart?

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Tec...olant/16645420 or take it to a dealer? I bought vehicle from a different state dealer and not at local dealer..

Check out this thread

https://www.pacificaforums.com/forum/...lant-type.html

and this thread

https://www.pacificaforums.com/forum/...w-minimum.html

But in any case DO NOT use the Walmart coolant. The manual specs MS.90032 but it seems Chrysler is using their MS-12106 specification. Those coolants are OAT (Organic Acid Technology) formulations and not compatible with non-OAT coolant. If you mix coolant, then a complete flush and refill is required. The Walmart coolant will void warranty.

Note that in the Coolant Level Thread already provided that one of the posts actually commented on a photo in the Chrysler Pacifica Manual that also shows the Coolant Level right at the Min Level. Bottom Line... Your Coolant Level is Fine.
