The dealer in my area says running boards are not available. Can you please tell me how to get these that are pictured? Thanks

Has anyone ordered the running boards yet? Or plan on ordering them? They look like more than just a simple add-on. Appears as though the existing side skirts need to be removed in order to install these. My kids keep stepping in the area where the sliding door chain goes, on the rubber part. I like how clean these look.

Not a big deal to install. I had them on my 2011, 2012, 2014 Town and Country vans and those as well you do remove the side skirts as the running boards take the place. They actually are a better design than the previous models, looks better as well.

Sorry if I'm being dense... are these 650 EACH of us that for a pair? And are these a DIY item? Other posts seem to indicate they are, but not sure.

I'm sure it's for the pair. There's only one part # for each color, otherwise they would have separate part #'s for the left and for the right side.

I have a question if anyone has the running boards and the sliding door hands free feature does the running board interfere with the ability to swipe your foot under the van???

Yes, the part price is for the pair. If you order your van they can be added for like 700 as an option if your van is white, red, silver, black, blue, a couple of the colors they are not offered on the running boards so you would have to do like me and order from dealer then paint to match. Now, you can go online and find the big volume dealers who sell parts much less then take that to your parts dept. and see if they will match it, that is what I did. Got the boards for 530.00 a pair instead of what my dealer wanted....670.00.

That is one of the draw backs, the hands free feature will not work. For me, it did not matter for the 2 sliders, I would only use that feature on the rear liftgate.

That's surprising. I would have thought that Chrysler would have designed them in a way that would allow the hands-free to work. Probably wasn't worth the trouble to figure out.
