Mine actually stopped working after visiting the dealer where they reflashed the computer. Guess it's another trip back to the dealer.

A manual mode or override should be a requirement can you imagine traveling with 8 passengers and then suddenly you have to tell one person that they can't ride because a seat is unusable?

Yes, an override makes a lot of sense. There should also be a lockout button to disable the stow buttons in case you've got a lot of cargo and something slides over and hits one of the buttons. This happened several times with my Explorer, which also didn't have a way to disable the buttons. It's really great when you have the folded 3rd row area stacked with cargo, and the seats suddenly try to unfold themselves.

Or to stop young kids that like to play with it. My wife is disabled so we carry a wheelchair around in the 3rd rows well. Needless to say, my grandson has reclined the seat into it many times (not good). A simple lockout like the side doors is a necessity!

I just picked up my new Pacifica Limited 6 days ago. Yesterday when I was trying to un-stow (return to normal) my right rear seat it got stuck halfway. I dropped off the minivan this morning at the dealership where I bought the Pacifica - Huffines Chrysler here in Plano, TX - and they told me they'll take a look at it later today. Hopefully it won't take long to resolve - I did mention there was a TSB on this issue when I dropped it off. It was certainly below 40 degrees when I tried to return the seat to normal last night.

I will say that overall I've pleased with the first week of ownership - FCA did a very good job designing this vehicle. And I'm coming from a Porsche Macan which I loved. The only reason I got the Pacifica was because I needed the space.

And it's ready to be picked up. The service advisor told me they read the codes and their troubleshooting said to apply an update but that update had already been applied. So long story short it's "fixed" but they didn't really do anything. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope it doesn't happen again. Nothing like getting first model year vehicles.

Still, on the bright side I'm very happy with the service. I had no appointment but was able to call this morning when they opened, dropped it off an hour later, and then 3:45 later I got the call that it was ready.
