Dome light problem

So the dome light in the middle row was pushed a little too hard and popped inside of the roof. I cannot, for the life of me, remove the fixture to replace the light in the hole where it's supposed to go. I attached a picture. You can see the light is off to the side. It still works so I know it's not broken. Someone please help me figure out how to get the fixture off!!

I imagine it's held to the headliner with clips. You'll probably need some type of pry tool to pop it out. I'd personally just take it to the dealer and say it popped in when tried to turn the light on. They'd fix it under warranty. Just don't say you pushed too hard.

I have more than 24k miles which is over manufacturer warranty. I really don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that is most likely very simple.

Warranty is 36k miles. You're still under warranty. Hopefully someone can chime in on the details of getting the piece removed if you don't want to take it to the dealer.

You're looking at the square light mounted in the plastic piece that also holds the air vent? (I don't know what the bright round light is.)

If so, the whole plastic assembly probably pulls down out of the headliner, which gives you access to the backside of the switch, and then gets carefully replaced into the headliner.

I think the "round light..." is just a reflection from the cell phone camera, I do agree that assembly just pulls down out of a clip and can be repaired and snapped back.

I'm pretty sure that "round light" is the actual light itself that has become dislodged from it's spot behind the lens, and we are seeing the light itself that is now loose behind the headliner.

And yes, the whole assembly should just pull free from the headliner, although it will take a little force to free the clips.

I looked at our 2017 Pacifica and there is no way that round light "spot" is anything other than a cellphone camera light reflection.
