My wife, daughter and I just test-drove a 2018 hybrid limited today and encountered this same bug. We had been in the Uconnect theater settings before we started our test drive, getting a DVD playing on one of the rear screens for our daughter before starting our drive, then when we were about to start (probably still in park) we switched to the surround camera app and found that the touch screen became unresponsive, so we couldn't change camera views or X to exit from the camera. We also found that the "screen off" button and the power button on the volume knob had no effect. The only way out seemed to be to shut down the car with the start button, or switch to and from reverse gear. We repeated this sequence several times to confirm it. Of course I immediately searched the forum and found another thread from April discussing the same problem, so we chalked it up to a programming bug. The surround camera is one of the main selling points of the Pacifica over the competition, but if we can't rely on it to work properly then that defeats the purpose. I couldn't immediately see how to tell what Uconnect version the car had or whether it needed an update; I tried entering the VIN from the window sticker into the website to see if it was due an update, but the site rejected the VIN, maybe because the car hadn't been sold yet. We told the dealer about the problem and he wasn't familiar with it but said he'd check it out on Monday as it was closing time, but given how others have said it fixed itself after sitting for a day, I don't know that he'll be able to reproduce it. Hopefully a fix will be coming soon!
