I just took delivery of a new 2018 Pacifica Touring L last week and this happens to me 100% of the time.I listen to sat radio exclusively and I noticed that when I start the vehicle the light at the bottom left corner saying what media the radio is tuned to is on the sat radio icon a split second later the screen will say Loading Navigation and a split second after that the icon changes to FM radio. It is obviously,to me, a conflict between the nav and the radio.

Update on my radio. I hadnt done anything about it resetting every time I start it up and then one night it stopped working completely. I pushed all the button and nothing used the knob for the audio and nothing the clock was stuck on one time the rear camera didnt come on when in reverse. I took a video of it on my phone and took it to the dealer the next day. Naturally when I started it up to go to the dealership it was working again. Good thing I took the video, service advisor and tech watched it and the tech took it to do a reset and load any updates. They told me the whole center stack needed to be replaced and it was on BO from Chrysler. When I got it back the channel reset seemed to be fixed. I have since gotten the center stack replaced and it seems to be working normally now in all aspects.
Frig likes this.

Our 2018 Touring L has done the same thing since new, not to mention issues with compromised primary and auxiliary batteries, sliding doors that periodically won't open and close using the motors and a driver's door rattle that can make you crazy. The dealership tried reprogramming the Uconnect system and then replaced the entire center stack but it still exhibits this behavior 90% of the time.

My daughter bought the same year/model about the same time, unfortunately based on my recommendation. While she has not had this radio problem at all, she has had the same battery issue, a sensor problem that caused the check engine light to come on and one incident where the parking brake turned on by itself and wouldn't disengage or allow the ignition to be turned off. Her van had to be dragged into a flatbed and be towed, while still running, to the dealership so they could override the ignition and turn it off. Then, they could not duplicate or diagnose the issue.

Between the two of us, we have had our vehicles back to the dealership eight times within the first two months of ownership and some problems still aren't fixed.

Guess what I am saying is that these vans are full of software gremlins that are causing all sorts of problems that then cannot be duplicated. I would strongly advise anyone considering a minivan to look elsewhere unless they like rolling the dice.
