Vacuum in motion

Is there any way of using the vacuum while the car is in drive? There have been many times where I would like to use the vacuum maybe is there a defeat for it?

I’ve never tried it. So you are saying the vacuum will shut off when you put the car in drive gear?

Probably to keep some California Soccer Mom from trying to suck up Cheerios while driving on the 5! They think it's okay to text, so why not?

Yeah I'm hoping someone with an electrical diagram can tell what switch I need to bypass. It truly is annoying when the kids spill something they can't vacuum it up unless I put the car in park. Pretty soon they are going to make our cars shut down completely unless the seat belt is buckled.
