2018 Pacifica hybrid issues...
I bought a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid (As of today, 2 months and 2K miles approx).
At 1K miles, had check engine light come up in few days. Took it to dealer and they said it was check engine lights which came before the call was sold to me, cleared them. Issue solved.
At 2K miles, car would start but it would not take charge (110V charger) and briefly flashed some kind of service needed warning on the screen. Took it to dealer ship. They had it for 2 weeks. Initially told that charging unit failed, ordered the part, i spoke with customer care and expedited delivery. Issue still not fixed. Next 12V battery was reported to be dead. They replaced a new battery still found that car would not charge and after further triaging with engineers and trying with 3rd new battery, Issue was solved.
I now hear static noise from speakers when brakes are pressed and I am scared to take it to dealership. God knows what will be the next problem. 50K car <2K miles and all these issues. Terribly disappointed with the quality of Pacifica hybrid. I am just posting this to express my concern and will report to Chryslercares too.
Please let me know if I can/should do anything about all of this.
