Over a Year, Still Love My Hybrid

I have had it since Dec 1st, 2017. 13,000 miles ~ 75% electric, 25% gas. No problems related to the power train.
Had a air conditioner leak and a very minor sliding door problem - would not stay open on a slope. Both quickly fixed by the dealer.
I am amazed that it is ~20,000 miles between oil changes. I assume with regenerative braking that the brakes will last long.
(I put solar on the house so most of my driving is free - forgetting the installation cost)
Frig and Newfoundland like this.

So you're still on the factory oil?

There are several posts about oil changes. The hybrid owners manual recommends to change when the oil life indicator indicates that it's needed, every 10K miles or every 12 months, whichever comes first. In addition, a couple of forum members have been having their oil analyzed and the first change contained higher levels of particulates from engine break-in, while the subsequent ones were normal.

I'm at 23K miles (delivered Sept 2017) and still loving mine!

Good thought on changing oil for any break in particles.
