Rolling bearing in sliding door

I was wondering if anyone else had this issue. My door seems to have a loose bearing in it, so that when I turn, it sounds like a ball is sliding back and forth inside the door. Usually it only happens once per trip. Anyone have any idea what it is?

Hello manwithavan,

Are you thinking about getting this inspected by your dealer? Send us a direct message as we'd be glad to get you an additional layer of assistance while in service.

Hi Jasmine,

Thanks for your reply. Our dealer said they didn't find anything wrong, and they don't seem particularly interested in addressing it. I was hoping someone else had experienced the same thing and could provide some input on what to look for. Thanks again.

Understandable, manwithavan. Since I am not a trained technician, I cannot necessarily change the results of that diagnosis. I am sure you'll get great advice here but if you end up getting a second opinion, let me know. I'll escalate a case to a case specialist who'll work with the new dealer to make sure all options have been explored.
