Thumping noise

I just bought a new 2018 Pacifica Hybrid last Saturday. When I plug in and unplug, I hear this thumping noise coming from inside the van. Anyone else have this? Any ideas as to what it could be? Thanks!

Most likely the contactor that feeds power to the battery.

I got that, sounds like a big solenoid clunking. Kinda reassuring actually.

Just stumbled upon this today, page 18 from the owner's manual:

NOTE:
During vehicle start up and shut down a clicking noise
may be heard from within the vehicle. When the ignition
is in the ON position, the high voltage battery contactors
inside the battery are closed to make the stored electricity
inside available for vehicle use. The clicking noise
heard is the sound of these contactors as they open and
close during normal operation.

It could also be the automatic parking brake engaging/disengaging
