Hi, My 2017 Pacifica LX got two main issues:
(1) The sliding door at passenger side bounced back to open when it's almost closed, but eventually the sliding door can be closed while pushing the button a few times. This issues happened one or twice per day.
(2) The sound & flash of locking the car has no difference between all closed doors and one opened door. In this case, if I leave one sliding door or back-lift door open, I can still lock the car without any notification. My previous minivan will beep differently whether all doors are closed or not.
If someone know how to solve the issue, please help me. This two issues drive me crazy.
Welcome to the forum.
In general it is best to separate problems and give each a title related to the problem or use the search feature when possible.
One thing to do is to look under the floor where the sliding door bottom rail goes and make sure there isn't a pencil or anything there that doesn't belong. I once found a pencil there that had been rolling around for awhile before I could find it. You may have to take the van to the dealer since it might be a sensor issue.
I don't think there is a difference between how the sound and flash is for all closed doors and one opened door, so I just think it is time to accept it.
