Yeap - you got a tear in your cv boot and the centrifugal force slings out the grease, eventually the joint will go bad if it isn’t repacked with grease and boot replaced.

Does your CV boot have any holes or tears?

What he said, I would have the boot replaced, cleaned (dirt in bearing) and the boot replaced. If you wait too long the CV Joint will fail and require replacement of the joint and axle.

Light weight tire chains made with cable rather than chains.
