Question Battery seems to be dying...2018 Pacifica S

When I locked the doors before it used to give a loud beeping sound. Now it's really faint and my phones are not charging at the normal speed. I checked the battery in the status behind the steering wheel and I believe it said 14.2 volts? I don't remember exactly but it was at 14 something and the status bar was not all the way full it was in the middle. Is this normal? Chrysler has already replaced the battery maybe 4 months ago. Thanks for any info...

Looking at the voltage while the van is running doesn't give much of an indication of the battery's state of charge.

You can check the charge better by using a voltmeter on the battery(s) after the van's been turned off for a while.

If you only make a lot of short trips and seldom a long trip (as we do) then you might need to charge your batteries occasionally (as we do).
