New stall update- TSB taken from another post

Hi everyone,
Recently there was a Technical Service Bulletin (18-001-19 REV. B) that appears to address concerns similar to the symptoms that you are having with your vehicle. To ensure this TSB applies, we would like to get you back into the dealer to have a qualified technician review the details of the TSB and specifics of your vehicle. Once reviewed, the technician can then perform the repair procedure that best matches the symptoms and diagnosis of your vehicle. This looks like a promising fix for the stalling condition. This has been the one thing holding me back from buying a Pacifica. So if people get this done and it fixes the problem I will be purchasing a Pacifica soon.

I wonder what the build date range is for this TSB is as I ran our VIN through the Mopar VIN/TSB lookup and none were found? Our Pacifica is a March 2019 build.

Maybe the updates have been incorporated to recently built Pacifica's and now they are distributing it to others?

This is VERY encouraging. Thank you Chrysler Cares! As one who monitors such complaints on the NHTSA Office of Defects database, it will be interesting to see if the number of complaints starts going down in the next few months for 2018 models. The current count of complaints as of this writing is 165. The number for 2019 models is 9, only one of which says the engine stalled (by the description it sounds as if the complainant was unaware of how ESS works). Fingers crossed!!

Contact your dealer with the TSB number and see if your VIN is on the list and if not insist they perform this update anyways.
