Thumbs down Recall work marked complete?

Iíve known that there were at least two recalls out there for my 2017 Touring Plus L Ė one was the T54 Second-row Seatbelt Buckle, the other was U01 Engine stall issue. And Iíve known I need to get my van in, just havenít done it yet, after so many service visits already.

So I was surprised when getting my latest Chrysler vehicle health report email that it only listed one recall for my car. I clicked the link to visit the recall, and Chrysler is showing only the seatbelt recall outstanding for my car, and that the engine stall issue was marked complete. I havenít been to the dealer for months Ė and definitely not yet this year Ė and yet they say this recall work was completed on January 11, 2018. What?

Iím already not loving this car due to the warranty problems, so having an outstanding recall marked as complete without any work being done is just plain looney. I anticipate now I have to fight with the dealer to get them to do the work which they say they've already done.

Thanks. I am familiar with the issue, and haven't seen any threads suggesting Chrysler is doing this to other people, but more posting to raise the issue and awareness of what could be unethical on their part - or just an accident - but either way potentially quite dangerous to be marked as complete when work hasn't even been done.

Chrysler is doing this to anyone who had the T23 recall (that came out in August 2017) done. My U01 recall was also marked complete without having gone in recently.

Got this in the mail today. If T23 was done, the U01 will be marked as complete and does NOT need to be done according to FCA. .

I got the same letter yesterday. I guess I should be happy that I don't need to go back to the dealer for this issue.

I have, since the T23 update was done, been of the belief that the vehicle has been running better than ever and the transmission has also been shifting much smoother. I suspect that there were a number of issues that were addressed in the T23 update. Does anyone agree???

I got the letter March 13. I had the T23 and a transmission update done in September 2017 which cleared up most of the transmission problems but then had 15 mph jolts/hesitations when accelerating at times. Since the transmission adaptations were cleared in November I have been happy with the shifting.

Got this spooky email today. I thought there might have some new information but I called the dealer as recommended and there's nothing new. I'm still listed as "complete" and no further action is needed.

They included my VIN (not shown) so you'd think they would already know that the T23 was done and the U01 is considered complete since the T23 already included the update covered by U01. That is according to FCA.

Question: is not the Pacifica receiving OTA updates? If that's the case, may be some of the software glitches get fixed via those updates. Excuse my ignorance but I'm new to Chrysler.

It does receive OTA updates, but I believe they are limited to the infotainment system, I do not believe they do those updates for primary control systems (and I believe that by design they cannot, although some hacker may find a way to make it happen due to a software mistake)
