Hello. We just took delivery of a new 2021 Pacifica AWD Pinnacle in Calgary, Canada, and it came with 20" wheels and tires, and I'm looking at getting a set of aftermarket 20" wheels so I can have a winter and a summer set of wheels and tires.

Not many 20" options out there at all....

I found some Spider Monkey 20" wheels on Ebay, but the dealer says they have not yet fitted them to a '21 AWD, so he's not sure about fit.

Does anyone know if the 20x8.5 Spider Monkey wheels will work on a '21 AWD?

Here's the link: 20" Rim Fits Jeep Grand Cherokee Spider Monkey JP16 Gunmetal Mach'd 9113 20x8.5 | eBay

Specs are fairly similar.... Factory AWD Pinnacle comes with 20"x7.5" and offset of 51mm, hub bore of 71.5mm and these Spider Monkey wheels are 20"x8.5", offset is 42mm and hub bore is 71.6mm with a 6.4 backspacing...

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, much appreciated. The dealer did just confirm they fit the Grand Cherokee SRT8 with the large Brembo brakes, and that the design of the spokes gives plenty of clearance for the brakes.

I really hops someone that also got an AWD with these wheels can chime in - although chances are pretty slim I guess....

You also might want to think about 18" wheels for the winter tires. Just get the same size tires that come with 18" Pacificas. That will keep your wheel diameter the same. That will make shopping easier and less expensive.

Thanks, I was contemplating 18", but the reason I was hoping for 20's, was that I could pull these "crappy" Falken Ziex tires off the factory wheels and put them on aftermarket wheels for summer, and get decent winter tires for the factory wheels...? I was thinking the factory wheels would handle the winter salts and road crap better than aftermarket wheels... I might be mistaken, but that's just my own kind of common sense.

Do you live in a part of Canada (like Winterpeg) that has 8 month winters? Why not keep the Falkens on the original wheels and get inexpensive wheels for the winter tires. Who cares if the cheap wheels get crappy! Just keep them washed. Those Pinnacle wheels are really nice, and the finish matches the unique brushed chrome. I have the same 20" Falkens on my 2018, and they are quite decent 3 season tires, but are kind of hopeless in snow.

Yes kind of - I'm in Calgary. 😀 I might just do that - it would give more options for winter tires and wheels in 18" size I guess. Just not sure where to start looking for wheels given the AWD has the larger brakes. Most I find, have 35mm offsets, and I'm not sure how well they'll work, and also be large enough to clear the brakes. This is becoming a tedious job. LOL

Thanks for your inputs!!!

I think with how rutty the roads get in Calgary in winter (been there many times) you would find the 20" wheels super rough. Stick with the 18"s. I just had Continental VikingContact7s installed on Replika R148B alloys, quite happy with look and handling of them so far. Neither the dealer nor ActiveG&R could seem to find steel wheels that would fit (3 tries). I have a 2020 Launch, I think the brakes are the same.

I disagree I put oem factory 20’s with a 245 50 20 and the difference is night and day in terms or driving . Drive a 18 inch oem and a 20 and you’ll see what I’m talking about . Driving a 245 tiire isn’t bad like trackhawk or demon tire being super wide . The tire fits tucked inside the fender and is completely complementary to the vans looks and feel , hence why the ice version has that setup .

A good option would be to find some 18" take-offs from an AWD 2021 Touring-L or Limited. They should clear your brakes and there would not be an offset problem. Wait a bit. Spring is near! Check eBay, other dealers.

Well, this post of yours came just at the right time. I looked at that same Replika R148B wheel today, and I really like the looks of it, so I emailed Fastco this afternoon to enquire about fitment on the AWD but haven't heard back from them.

With the 18" having a 34mm offset and the oem 20" wheel a 51mm offset, does everything fit OK?

I was leaning toward the R148B with a 245/60/R18 Michelin X-Ice Snow tire.... The Replika website shows it's a fit for the 2021 AWD, but all the tire dealers' websites show it does NOT fit... So what are you using for a tire, and is the 34mm offset an issue at all, or none? Thanks for your help!!!!

Thanks Waldo - problem is not too many Pacifica AWD's being sold in or around Calgary, let alone finding someone selling OEM wheels.... And when they do, shipping in Canada is so prohibitive, that it ends up costing a small fortune. I have bought several OEM takeoff wheels for my other vehicles from the US in the past - but same problem - shipping to me in Calgary is EXPENSIVE!!!

Way cheaper and easier to just buy new replica wheels here in Canada. The R148B's mentioned earlier, are brand new with free shipping within Canada for the equivalent of US$130 a piece. VERY hard to beat....

Thanks, but there are not a lot of 20" nice looking wheels that are 7.5, 8 or even 8.5" wide with offets around the 50mm mark. Most I've seen are 9 or 10" wide, and have offsets of 32-35mm. I've seen several photos on here with 10" wide wheels and 35mm offsets where the tires look like "balloon tires" which I do not like - or where the tire protrudes the wheel wells and looks "tacky" to me.

And the few 20" wheels I've seen, are $400+ per wheel compared to the $170 for the Replika R148B's in 18". Also, in winter, we don't do long distance driving - it's mostly commuting 10-20km at a time, so an 18" vs 20" is "mute" to me for winter driving. The higher sidewall is also an added benefit sometimes in the frozen "banks" of snow. Just my personal take on it.

Problem is the awd brakes , keep checking Craigslist or eBay if your not in a hurray . If you know any Durango or Jeep rims that are 20 they might fit . Literally would have to take front tire off and see the rim on the hub
I've seen some 20" wheels off a Jeep Cherokee Summit, but they don't look as nice as the Replika R148B wheels, and I am not sure they'll be a 100% fit - and they're a 6 hour roundtrip drive from me. So way too far for just a look see. And they want $400 a piece, compared to the 18" Replika R148B's I can get for $159 each shipped to my door.
