Hello, my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica has had issues w/ the check engine light coming on since a week after buying it brand new. It has been at the dealer multiple times for this problem. It now has over 36K miles, however, the check engine light continues to go on/off and the stop/start works on and off. In addition the van hesitates and/or jolts occasionally. I bought a new car so I would not have to deal with these issues. I called the dealer multiple times before the warranty expired, however, they kept scheduling appointments for me & the light would be off prior to the appointment. The dealer indicated that it would be a waste of time coming in if the light isn't on. If this is a problem that has been ongoing since I purchased the vehicle, could it still be covered by Chrysler? I explained to the dealer over and over that I wanted this resolved before the warranty expired, but they were not helpful at all. Here are the check engine codes from a code reader:
P0300
P0013
P1053
P1055

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

If it has been in multiple times for the same issue might be something deeper going on.

Is it actively misfiring? e.g. running poorly and engine light flashing? If so, I would tow it in, raw gas will toast your converters pretty quick. In order or what I have seen: bad spark plugs, bad coil pack, bad injector, broken wiring.

If it's less severe, Have both batteries checked, the Pacifica is sensitive to weak batteries, they are in parallel, disconnect them and get them tested individually. If bad or marginal, don't be cheap get new ones. Clear codes and see what comes back.

Finally, you can reach out to @ChryslerCares to see what they can do to help if this is an unresolved warranty issue.

Thank you! No flashing check engine light but it does seem to run poorly at times. It will "slip" and then act normal again.. It's a real quick thing, but he check engine light is never flashing. The dealer has told me to just "keep driving it" and it will go off. I also reached out to Chrysler cares in a seperate conversation so I will see what they recommend. We will also check the batteries!

Might try a different dealer, weird that they told you to keep driving, but some service advisors are better than others, you might need to tweak your wording a bit, there are key words service advisors pick up on. Keep it short and sweet:

"Hi I have a check engine light turns on and stays on for "X" amount of time. After a "X" it will turn off. This has been happing since "X" and an attempt was made to fix it on the last service appointment. I had the codes read they are P0300, P0013, P1053, and P1055. When the check engine light turns on the engine stumbles.

"Slip" gets them thinking about transmissions, make it clear that it's a continuation of the last visit, and if it is it makes sense that it should still be covered. Obviously, ChryslerCares will be able to dig into the details. Sometimes it's covered sometimes not, things like if the spark plugs need to be replaced that will be a customer pay (wear item).

Sorry for not following up to the original post
In my particular situation, it was a fluke, and after letting the car rest for the evening and resetting the check engine light, it never came back. I know that the fan isn't broken, as I can hear it running. So I guess my own situation was just a warning shot. Did the person you reached out to clear out the warning? That way if it comes back, you know the problem 100%.

I purchased an OBD2 reader at Auto Zone probably 5-6 years ago, for my last vehicle. It was cheap, all of $20, but I use it any time something happens so I can read the warning without going to a dealer or mechanic. I save money that way. But if you do end up needing to change the fan, don't worry too much. It's a bolt in part that has electric clips in order to plug and unplug it. You won't need to splice into the electrical system of the vehicle.
