Hello. I have a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica limited that makes a clunking metal noise when backing up and wheel all the way to the right on the driver side. It also makes the same creaking noise when taking off from a stop on the left driver side. I have taken vehicle to local shop called Frontier Dodge on Spur 327 here in Lubbock Texas and I get the worse service. They keep telling me if nothing has happened with the vehicle yet then it’s nothing! I’m like it shouldn’t be making this noise it’s not normal. So am I supposed to wait until something happens on a long trip! Chrysler needs to step in and help me with this dealership because their service sucks!

there's a recall for describing that kind of problem but on the right side. clunking like that could be a a joint in the suspension, strut hat, the engine or tranny mount, and possibly but unlikely a bad CV joint on your axle you would hear a loud whine when driving if it was.

welcome to the forum, put information, about your van like trim, color, and option in your signature to make it easier for other members and other moderates to help you
