Same here. In Missouri and this began last week after the extreme cold temps. Took to dealer today who reset the system and tried an update without success. Now they want me to spend $1000 plus tax for a whole new radio. Not sure what to do.
Details about your vehicle would help here. Model year and mileage? If you are out of warranty and you do not have an extended warranty, you are likely out of luck.

Was this resolved? My 2018 Pacifica (31k miles) just started doing this, and my factory warranty expired Nov 5th.

I've got a 2022 Pinnacle on order, and this is making me doubt my choice.
Yeah I’m choked. This is super annoying.
2018 Pacifica Limited just started doing this reboot thing every 30s to 2 minutes. About to go in a road trip next week and will be doing it without the radio now.

Worst part is, called the dealer yesterday and they won’t even start troubleshooting the issue until end of March. Over a month before I can get anyone to look at it. Then parts orders and usual software update challenges. It’s going to be April/May/June before this is solved…. If I’m lucky.

Uconnect software update 39.5 should resolve this.

I just came back from last week of snow in lake tahoe and my 2019 limited uconnect started rebooting every 30sec to 2mins. I went to dealership and they cannot push any software in due to it rebooting... so their recommendation is new radio headunit. I started looking online they're like $600 to $800. I am out of warranty and no insurance too. So I guess I'll swallow the cost. It is not hard to replace the head unit it's like plug and play but thought would check for a software reset before buying the hardware.

Did they try a hard reset by pulling fuse 76?

Do you have a USB flash drive plugged in by chance?

Was there ever an actual fix for this? I have a 2018 model and when i took to the dealership all they told me was to replace the head unit and it would cost me around 800 dollars. This cant be the only answer to a software issue like this.

Adding my name to the list of affected 2018 Pacifica Limited. Dealer tried updating the software but it wouldn't complete the update for some unknown reason. Had to replace the radio at over $1000 cost. Happened this last February 2022 @ ~80k miles. Pretty pissed off about the whole thing. Would love to see some talk of a class action

The vehicle is way past the 3/36 warranty that would have covered that unless you would have bought an extended Mopar Maximum Care warranty. I fail to see how class action would stand its ground.

Hello, I ran into the same issue that was described here with my 2019 Pacifica Limited - Uconnect is rebooting itself every 4 mins and now has drained my battery. Is there a fix documented ? Calling the Uconnect customer care did not help they asked me to take it to the dealer - since VIN shows all software up-to-date and told me there is an update available from the dealer portal for the Uconnect.

Could be the display cable. Several have reported replacing it has fixed their issue with the display going dark and then back on. If that doesn't fix it or is not the same problem the head unit would need to be replaced.

Thanks for the reply, display still comes up and gets rebooted. Now it's draining my battery for some reason even after I turn of the engine.

If it's head unit replacement, is that covered by the chrysler? Since this is a known defect ? My 3yrs/36k just expired 😕

You would be charged unless you have an extended warranty. Doesn't sound like a cable issue at this point.

Thanks again for the response. I saw a post say the software update would fix it ? still reading through the posts .. not sure if any had any success with the updates
Software update is definitely worth a shot, search the forum to know how to get your installed version, and try to find what the latest version available is.

You can also search here, but I never saw any update for my 2018: Software Update for Uconnect® - Check For Updates
