Any resolution here? Mine just started having this exact problem. About the same time I started trying out the USB ports in the front to play the uconnect audio through my son's new headphones I got on Amazon. Tried connecting them multiple ways before remembering uconnect uses IR for headphones/remote. Just a dumb moment on my part but I left one of the USB cables plugged in and my system has been having this problem ever since. ~1wk. Woke up to a dead car yesterday morning, maybe it was the cold though..?

Nothing is plugged in now. Still having same uconnect restarting issue. Every few minutes. Any update after installing the new radio from the dealership?
Did you get anywhere with this? We're having the same issue, starting earlier this year. No GPS, clock is wrong and radio reboots every 3-4 minutes.

Unfortunately it requires a total uconnect radio replacement and only the dealership is able to do it since they're the only ones with access to the software needed to install the new one. We had ours replaced, cost $1200, and everything is working as before now. good luck

I know this thread is older but I recently had the same issue in my 2018 Pacifica. I was able to get the radio module from a wrecked 2020 Pacifica for $225 on ebay. Part Number 68461768AA. It's been working great for a month. I don't think the UConnect service or the 4g internet will work since I believe those are tied to the VIN but that doesn't bother me. Another option if dealer is trying to tell you $1200.

my 2019 Pacifica limited started to have same issue, just expired my factory 3yr/36K miles warranty (dang it). Uconnect would restart itself very 3-4 minutes ( i parked the vehicle in the garage on a Friday evening ) started dong some research learned this is a known issue with Chrysler radio unit. However, what i did not learn from other folks is that it will also drain the battery, which happened in my case i planned to take to the dealer on Friday but gave me an appt the following Monday by that time damage was already done to the battery. Vehicle would not start. Dealer said both main and aux battery dead and $700 (parts+labor) for changing and still they are trying to diagnose what the problem is. I called Uconnect they said my uconnect unit would need a software update that is available only via Dealer portal and that would fix the restart issues but they or dealership never warned me that i should unplug my battery 'coz it would have adverse effect on battery and eventually kill it...

Hoping Uconnect or Chrysler will cover my battery costs as well as any other expense with it.

waiting for further update hope this would benefit someone.

man that is a lot of money for two batteries.. our battery was 120 from walmart and took a short time to replace in our hybrid.

yeah kicking myself, unfortunately my vehicle was towed to the dealership and for them to even check they need to power up. I had to cough up the $$$$ to get them started with the diagnosis for the actual issue.

Next worry is "they are going to tell its all ok" - again the reboot is going to kill the main battery & aux battery

Update, bad went to worse.

Went to the Van on Wednesday 1/12 and Van would not start. Gauges work but no crank and had it towed. Shop called and said they had to charge the batteries for 3 hours, pull 3 modules and let it sit overnight. They said they had never seen this or heard of it before and had to contact Star Team to figure out what to do.

The next day the modules were plugged in and nothing changed and they were told to order a new radio to install and I could pick it up. Then when I get there, the Van will not start. HA - This is going to be fun.
The same thing just happened to my 2019 pacifica. I had the radio restarting every 3.5 around the clock. Took it to the dealer on Friday, they tried everything and said radio needs changed, wait for the part. Car stood in garage over the weekend and on Monday wouldn't start but everything inside was fritzing. Interior lights flashing, PRNDL letters lighting up and down, wipers slowly scratching across the glass. Until it ran out of juice entirely. Now I have no functioning car and no way to get it to a dealer.

How was your issue resolved? It sounds like a crysler **** up. Did they make it right for you?
