Hi Everyone. First time post and unfortunately a sad one.
I purchased my hybrid vehicle 3 weeks ago and barely have 1k miles on it.
This last Sunday, the vehicle's check engine turned on, started blinking and beeping at me. Simultaneously, the vehicle started to make a light grinding sound during ICE acceleration, and only moving the vehicle forward with a light press to the gas pedal. Basically, if I pressed too hard on the pedal, the grind sound would happen and the car would't really move.
I was able to eventually park the vehicle with no issue and oddly, after the 3rd or 4th restart, the check engine light went away and the vehicle was acting normal again.
I am by no means a car guy, so I'm taking it in to the dealership tomorrow.
Possibly related: Since owning the vehicle, I've always noticed the engine compartment have short random instances of loud, un-rhythmic knocks. Most particularly, during hot Texas days (100+ f). Whatever it is, I want to say that my vehicle seems to be sensitive to heat. It was definitely hot the day the incident happened. ?????
Either way, I'll definitely be posting my findings online.
Anyone else ever experience something like this?
Any advice on questions to ask the dealer?

Just left the dealership. This is the error code that they pulled from the vehicle.
ECU: PCM DTC: P0300 Description: Multiple Cylinder Misfire
They gave me a loaner and told me to expect about a week for repair. Also, there was a mention of a TSB for the Catalytic Converter, so that was going to be looked at as well.
