2018 Pacifica S auto start/stop issue

Over the last week our van started having issues with auto start at a red light. It said restart required and was off. We had to put in park push the button to restart the van while the light was green and creating a traffic issue. 2 times in a week. Not sure what is going on but I will take to the dealer. If anyone some insight that would be great.

Likely the second battery is weak. That’s most of the time the issue.
Last month while in for oil change dealer said a service bulletin was out to do a computer update related to the start stop, but we so far had not had any issues 30,000 mi. Might be worth a trip to dealer.
Stop/start has almost never worked in our Pacifica. They replaced both batteries (main and ESS), and updated the computer, but it still only works after a few hundred miles of a road trip. Around town, it almost never works.

Pretty clear that ESS is there for corporate EPA benefit, not van owner's benefit.
The exact problem happened with my 2017 Pacifica a few weeks before the secondary battery died.
