My experience with other cars is that a bad lead acid battery can be tricky to diagnose. I had one test well multiple times but would drop voltage low enough after a start in cold weather that it would throw seemingly unrelated codes. Changing the battery solved the problem. The battery finally tested bad after sitting outside of the car for a week. The voltage you mentioned is more reflective of the charging system. Good luck!

The dealer changed the battery today and it seems to be working fine. Will get to test it properly on next cold day

just 1 more information. the batteries on the pacifica hybrids are not lead acid. they are AGM batteries, supposed to have longer life than lead acid.

Just as a point of reference, an AGM battery is still a lead-acid battery.
