2020 Limited - Units menu missing under settings......

5060 Views 25 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  lutorm
Just picked up a 2020 Limited and the "Units" menu is missing under the Uconnect settings. The manual details the menu and my 2018 ICE has it so can somebody confirm that it exists on a 2020?

I'm thinking a hard/full reset of the Uconnect may be in order - that is fuse F76?

Thanks,

John

If you don't see the units menu, pulling fuse F76 would be a good thing to try. It's odd that it's not there, and I'm not confident that pulling the fuse will being it back. It certainly won't hurt anything to try though. I think it may be a programming issue with the screen or another module.
Pulled the fuse..... it didn't make it appear. Would like to know if another 2020 hybrid owner can chime in if that menu exists in the settings.

Thx.

It exists in mine. I can change it to kilometers, etc. It should definitely be there, as these are built in a metric country. ;)

Take the van back to the dealership. The Units menu should be there according to page 402 of the 2020 owner's manual. If yours has this issue, there's a good chance other vans also have the same problem. The van probably needs a software update.
Yep - unfortunately, the sales dealership is 220mi away but I have a local dealer so will just have to schedule in and see what magic they can work!

The 2018 ICE TL+ is sitting next to the 2020 in the driveway and sure enough I wasn't dreaming when I was looking.

For those that thing this is a small thing - it is but I'm a British import to the USA and still prefer Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Cheers,

John

I'm a Canadian import (like our van), so I feel your pain. That said, L/100km has never meant anything to me like MPG does. Of course, you can choose Imperial Gallons... ahem. ;)
Dealer tried all their tricks this morning. Eventually gave up and opened a STAR case with Chrysler.

Any update on this? We brought our car up to Canada and it's real annoying not being able to switch to km/h.
Still waiting on the STAR case - interesting to find another vehicle out there with this missing menu.

Yes, mine is also a 2020 hybrid limited. Weird.

Just as an update, the dealer here in Canada was able to change the country code to Canada on the van and we were able to get the speedo to change between mph and km/h but still no unit menu on the head unit and no ability to change any of the other units on the car, just the speedo.
My dealer just replaced the head unit and that didn't fix it. Back to Chrysler and the STAR case.
Another 2020 Limited owner here, no Units in the menu. Has nobody figured out the solution? I get that pulling the fuse is not it.
Additional detail:

I noticed that every once in a while (can't discern a pattern) the Uconnect only shows two screens worth of "apps" instead of the usual three screens. When that happens, I only have 11 items in the Settings menu (as opposed to the usual 19 items, still missing Units).

Does anybody else have apps "missing" any time? Has anybody noticed a pattern?
Well, I changed my 2020 for a 2021 so it solved the problem and I've closed my case with Chrysler. There wasn't a solution in 5 months of ownership......

For what it's worth, I visited a nearby dealer for warranty check-up of this issue. They found the Star Online Publication attached below. It's a very recent discovery, based on the release date. The fix is aiming for early May. Fingers crossed!

I have the same problem on Chrysler Pacifica hybrid 2020 ((.
I've also not been able to find the Units menu. I thought I was going crazy, but I just found this thread. I also can't change the speedometer units by pressing OK on the speedometer display, like others seem to be able to.

This is sort of important as we'll be bringing the vehicle to Europe when we move, so I guess I'll have to tell the dealer about that star case. Does anyone know whether a software update now exists?
Hi. Any updates on this topic? I steel can not switch units. The menu item did not appear even after disconnecting 12v battery and reinstalling the menu.
Can anyone recommend where can i check the status of the issue reported above?
