2020 Limited - Units menu missing under settings......

5079 Views 25 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  lutorm
Just picked up a 2020 Limited and the "Units" menu is missing under the Uconnect settings. The manual details the menu and my 2018 ICE has it so can somebody confirm that it exists on a 2020?

I'm thinking a hard/full reset of the Uconnect may be in order - that is fuse F76?

Thanks,

John

Our warranty is about to expire, so I took it to the dealer today. They looked at it before but there was no update out, and now they're referencing Star case S2008000011 Rev. D (a later rev than what's posted earlier in this thread) saying there's still not an update available and replacing the instrument cluster for it is not covered under warranty. They told me to try asking Chrysler customer care. @ChryslerCares is this something you can assist with?

Please post here, as well, if y'all reach a resolution.
Thanks to the star case that you made available I was able to show Chrysler that this is not just me. They have told me that have ordered a cluster which should arrive in about 10 days that will resolve this problem and give me the ability to change the units between miles and kilometers. Fortunately they also had a service person who had seen this exact problem in one other vehicle. So this will be a 2 visits to the dealership to resolve the problem—annoying but at least resolvable.

Let us know the outcome!
Chrysler opened a case for technical assistance for me with this problem and they were completely unwilling or unable to help in any way, they just referred me back to the dealer and told me that because there will be a software update coming, they won't do anything under warranty. I asked if they knew when said software update was coming, since they've ostensibly worked on it since 2021, and they had no idea. They didn't know whether switching the country code to Canada would switch the units to km either, but helpfully said I could talk to the dealer and see if they want to try that.

100% playing pass the buck.
