Had a good snowstorm in NE Ohio to try out the 2021 AWD Pacifica.
Yeah "nice job Scott"... I saw your vid more than a week ago, right after you published it... very impressive :)

You're a professional (car reviewer) and it shows... this vid is GREAT... excellent info, super presentation, awesome editing !!!

And... I'm so glad to see another vid talking about the new Pac AWD and showing it's snow performance! My youtube vid is totally amateur, haha, but... it was the first showing details about the new van in the snow... and I tested a specific snow situation, I was curious about :)

Anyway Chrysler should be paying you for this professional production... you're gonna sell a lot of new AWD vans for them... thanks so much for taking all the time to do this!

Thanks for the kind words. I took a look at your video and you had wonderful conditions to test out that new Pacifica in. My personal vehicle is an older T&C (FWD with Blizzaks) and they make all the difference in the world, as you can imagine. You probably already know this, but winter tires are made with a rubber compound that doesn't harden up in colder temperatures and that, with the tread design, is what helps so much. Last week I drove in some snow in Pennsylvania that was brutal. Would love to have had the AWD and the winter tires; it was a scary spot to be in, but the old T&C made it through. I will always use winter tires, but the nice thing about AWD is that for those transition months (Nov and March), you can take the winter tires off and still have decent traction.

Just got a 2021 Pacifica Touring with AWD and the S Package.

The AWD lets me go up and down my inclined gravel driveway with 8-9 inches of snow on it. (more snow predicted, may be 10" next time I leave the house)

My old 2013 Caravan would NEVER have made it. With FWD, only the right front tire pulls. So, even with snow tires, you have ONE wheel drive.

Glad I didn't cheap out and get a standard Pacifica.

Yes totally agree.

And, from what I understand, with AWD I might only get 1 front and 1 rear wheel for propulsion in some cases - but that's still better than 1 front wheel drive. The system has worked GREAT for me since 1994.
