We just took delivery of our 2021 limited.

In lots of cars, even in my 2014 Prius V, the second row of seats can slide forward and backward.

Do the 2nd row captain's chairs slide at all? I am baffled I can't figure this out on my own but a bit at a loss after paying MSRP for a car whose seats don't even slide!! Thank you!

Do you have the 2nd row Stow N Go seats in a gas Pacifica (not hybrid)?

Those don't slide. They do, however, fold down into the floor.

Please read your owner's manual.

Well the trade off for stow n go seats . The frame and seat base need to fold into the floor cubby hole . And if you wanted seats that are real bucket seats and moved fore and aft you could have gotten pinnacle route or non stow n go seats

Yes, it's the gas model with stow and go. So the seats don't really move??? What a disappointment!
Is there a particular reason you need to be able to slide them?

If this feature was truly important to you, you would've confirmed your Pacifica would have it before placing your order. I'm actually surprised that you're just discovering this now because Stow 'N Go seating is the Pacifica's signature feature. Their inability to be adjusted forward/backward is also a well known trade-off.

Welcome to the forum.

The front seats can probably slide forward by pushing a button on the pillar to gain some space in front of the second row or for stowing the second row seats. A second row stow n go seat should be able to be released and tilted forward to gain more access to the rear seats if you don't want to stow it.

You can download more extensive owner's manuals from the Mopar website if desired.

Or he can read the paper versions of those manuals, which came with his shiny new $40,000 toy.

In the past we received a User's Guide which is summary of the 600+ page owner's manual that can be downloaded. It is possible that the more extensive manuals are now given out with the vans.

No the second row seats do not slide as it's a standard stow and go. HOWEVER, in a pinnacle model which DOESN'T offer stow and go... They do slide.

Yes, that button on the B pillar is the Auto Advance 'n Return button with the single purpose to move the front-most seats as far forward as possible to allow the user to either collapse the second-row seat into the floor storage or to set the seat up from the floor storage.

If it is easier access to the third row the OP wants, there is a handle on the top outside corner of the second row seat back that can be pulled to tilt the second row seat forward. Can be used even with a child seat installed in it (but not the child in the child seat!). Or the seat back can be made to fold flat for easier access to the third row by pulling up on the recliner lever on the side of the second row seat (again with no one seated in it!).

If OP is simply looking to adjust the seat for more legroom, then yeah, the Pinnacle would have been the way to go.

Actually, the stow and go that doesn't allow the seats to be sliding around is a great design. Once it is folded flat, the floor is so clean and smooth!!! No rails or nothing else. You can make it into a bed and sleep on it !!

Just like others have stated, only pinnacle allow sliding seats, because it can't be folded into the floor. The gas pinnacle has storage spaces and the hybrid doesn't. Because those spaces are now used for batteries

My T&C van seats folded flat, no rails remained, went back and forth, and I did sleep in the back.
