I did some research for you all.. I don't have a Uconnect 5 system but maybe try this guide?

at the end of the guide, you need to connect it to your computer

maybe this will work for you?
Uconnect just said they are working on it and might be delivered in march. I asked to escalate and will see if that goes anywhere

seems like this is continued kicking of can down the road

Thanks for posting that. As you can see, though, the Chrysler Pacifica is not on that list. I spent lots of time on the tomtom site and even downloaded the app. USB updates are not possible in the Pac, at least not by customers.

Chrysler, tomtom, uconnect, XM guardian... ALL dead ends. No one actually knows how the system is supposed to work.
Yeah I was just hoping that tom tom had dropped the ball and didn't update their site to reflect the Pacifica having the Uconnect 5 system. I'll say it's par for the course for them frankly though. The 2018's missed 3 major updates and most people probably have no clue they are stuck on very old software unless they attempted map updates because HERE provided the software updates via USB sticks but ONLY if you got the first of the 3 major updates(ironically..)

Received below from uConnect case management. Basically no commitment on when this will be deployed - at this point will it ever happen…

Unfortunately, at this time we have not yet released any Map Over the Air updates.

Your 2021 Pacifica supports automatic map updates that are sent directly to the vehicle however we are awaiting the software to start deploying these automatic map updates. So currently you cannot update your map database. In the future once there are available updates they will simply update automatically.

I finally, for the first time, got the slightest acknowledgement that there was an issue they are aware of. Of course, no timeline. Maps still approaching 3 years.

My solution to the chaos from Chrysler and Uconnect is to simply install Android Auto. Use Waze or Google maps and data on your phone. I realize this is not free as promised by Chrysler as it uses your data but it works fine for me for now. Data is only needed if you require traffic reports on the map. I only turn it on when absolutely required. Otherwise, the maps are superb and accurate.

That's not a solution, that's a band aid. I specifically shopped for the 21 over many available and cheaper '20s for the new uconnect and ota maps. AA is great but it's not as responsive, doesn't integrate with the native system and if you're using wireless aa plus Google navigation the wireless charger will not keep up. Chrysler needs to come up with a fix and get these maps out asap.
