Our Pacifica has had intermittent issues with the stereo intermittently making static sounds. A few days ago it was so doing this when we turned the car off, then it started making a clarinet or bagpipe like sound that we could not stop. It quit on its own when the stereo timed out after one minute. Now when we turn the car on it makes a constant screeching sound that we can sometimes turn down or sometimes have to power off head unit. We have unpaired all devices, pulled everything from USB ports, and tried different media sources. I also pulled all fuses that seemed relevant to Uconnect, media, or radio functions. Has anyone experienced anything similar? If so what was resolution.

What media are listening too , sat , radio , your phone , are you using Bluetooth or hdmi connection ?
It’s anything and nothing. FM, AM, Bluetooth, CarPlay. Or nothing. We have paired and unpaired and pulled all media from USB ports. If the main unit is on and volume is up it is screaming, even if we are not playing anything at all.

Sounds like it’s oscillating.
Maybe I don’t understand the term as used here, but my research on oscillating leads to engine vibrations or similar engine noises. This is coming from speakers and happens when stopped, in motion, on gas, electric mode, or engine off and in accessory mode. Does oscillating refer to something else in this instance?
I finally snagged an appointment at dealership so hopeful for a resolution. I was told the earliest I could get in was over two weeks out but got lucky!
