We have a had a 2021 Pacifica since November but not used the entertainment system as our kid was rear facing until 2 weeks ago. Have tried using it on long car rides and sometimes the rear seat controls show up on the dash and sometimes they do not. I probably have to do a hard reset every 2 times we use the system. I know it's under warranty but have a feeling this is one of those things where it's "well the hard reset fixes is so NBD," but feels like a big glitch to have to do this so often. Anyone else deal with this?

Yes! We have been struggling with this as well. (2021 PacHy Pinnacle). We've brought it into the dealer and they keep just updating the firmware and hoping that resolves it. So far, it still shows up intermittently. For us, sometimes rebooting Uconnect does not resolve it and we have to re-start the car itself.

It happens often for me and I restart the radio (holding down the power button for about 30 seconds does the same thing)

Are you still dealing with this issue? I have for 2 years now.

I was at the dealer today, and they said Uconnect called them, but they never provide actual assistance. All they do is instruct them to update the firmware on the devices which has already been done. They are as confused on how to troubleshoot and escalate the issue as we (the customers) are.

I think the only way to get attention is for customers to join forces and open cases, and share that we are all having the same SOFTWARE issue. The 2022 models and beyond have moved to a new UConnect platform and our 2021's are likely not going to get bug fixes. Period. I'm in my final year of a 3 year warranty and still dealing with these bugs that should have been addressed.

Here's my case info.
Would you be willing to call 1800-826-6632, open a case, share your case info, and then make appointment with dealer to troubleshoot?
