So I just finished up on my latest project. Installing the rear lights from a 2021 model on to my 2017 Pacifica. Had to do some juggling with the wiring, but everything bolted right up !
Love the new look !

Tried looking for used, but seems its too early to find used ones right now. You need 4 parts. The center "applique" as they call it, the two corner lights and a new camera bracket as the old one is different.

Do you happen to have the part numbers? And what electrical modifications did u have to do? Thanks
# 68424932AB # 68531465AA # 68526304AA # 68424931AB On the corner lights you need to switch over the black and white wires on the plug. The center you may have to figure out on your own as I already had a park light 12v feed on a vrelay back there for my LED strip which I tapped into. Tapped into the reverse light wiring for the back up LED's.
Serious? You didn't need to do any panel mods?
No panel mods. Everything goes on and bolts through the same holes !

Thanks. Roughly what did it cost u and how long did it take ?
Parts were about $850 and it took me around 3-4 hours including figuring out the wiring.

Thanks I think I’m gonna do it to mine too
I think there maybe quite a few going this route now they have seen it can be done fairly easily.

I assume the sport and non-sport models have different part numbers? Do you recall when ordering?
The center section does not come with the emblem. You just remove and use your current one or order another separately.

Good morning

There is definitely a difference in the back. Take a look below. It might be simply the emblem having a separate part number?

S does not mean sport!? What else would you guess the "S" stands for? Regardless if it says it in the brochure, everyone knows that is what is implied by the S letter on pretty much all cars. Below is mine, I just want to be careful to get the correct emblems.

Thanks,
Dave

The new part does not come with the emblem. You can switch yours over or just buy another that matches.

There is no white line on the tail lights. I think you're just seeing a reflection in the picture.
Its a clear lens continuation of the back up light lenses on the center bar, but there are no LED inside it. The reverse lights on the 2021 are not that good. I had some Triton LED bulbs on my old 2017 lights that just blew these away. But, I do prefer the overall look of these.

I'm wondering about your exhaust setup. Did you just swap the lower valance with one from a tow-package model? That's what I was thinking of doing on the wife's. Where did you get the piece that you have below the exhaust? Also, was it a tight space to get the bends leading up to the tips?
Thanks in advance.
Yes, the lower valance is from a tow package, The Bottom piece is cut from a rear diffuser I had from a different model car that I adapted. It was a little tricky getting everything to fit !
I love this and plan to do this to my 2019 in the near future. Nicely done!

Quick question: As far as the wiring, do you think it's possible to tap into the license plate lighting to power the center section?
Possibly. The electronics on these is very finicky. If it senses an overload on any circuit, it cuts it off. I used a relay from a 12v+ feed i already had in the rear for my Subwoofer Amp. It is only an LED in the center, so the pull should not be too great. It may well work.

I have purchased the rear panel and camera mount, but ran into a couple of issues on the install so I just put back everything back to original for now.

The main issues are all related to the back up camera from my 2018.
1. It would not fit properly in both the newer 2021 camera mounting bracket as well as the 2021 back panel.
2. The electrical connector is a different type/shape as well.
3. The camera hole diameter of the new panel is a bit larger than the old panel. The gap is big enough that i was uncomfortable installing it and having the possibility letting water in.
4, Ideally, I didn’t want to buy a new camera as well for another couple hundred dollars. It would seem however if you did purchase the 2021 camera, these issues would be resolved.

So, what did you guys do to jerry rig this setup? And do you happen have the wiring diagram and layout & pinouts for the 4 wire bundle loom on the panel? Thanks for any assistance…
If I recall correctly, I first thought the 2021 camera mount would not work, I may have had to do some slight mod work to it (I cannot remember), but it was no big deal and very minor. Did not notice the diameter being any different and the plug went straight in. I just used a 12v+ source (drill battery) to test the wires on the new panel to find out what was what. Mine is a 2017, but I do not think the camera has changed at all on any model??... Looked online and they use the same part #.
