I'm wondering about your exhaust setup. Did you just swap the lower valance with one from a tow-package model? That's what I was thinking of doing on the wife's. Where did you get the piece that you have below the exhaust? Also, was it a tight space to get the bends leading up to the tips?
Thanks in advance.
Yes, the lower valance is from a tow package, The Bottom piece is cut from a rear diffuser I had from a different model car that I adapted. It was a little tricky getting everything to fit !
I love this and plan to do this to my 2019 in the near future. Nicely done!

Quick question: As far as the wiring, do you think it's possible to tap into the license plate lighting to power the center section?
Possibly. The electronics on these is very finicky. If it senses an overload on any circuit, it cuts it off. I used a relay from a 12v+ feed i already had in the rear for my Subwoofer Amp. It is only an LED in the center, so the pull should not be too great. It may well work.

View attachment 45994 View attachment 45995 So I just finished up on my latest project. Installing the rear lights from a 2021 model on to my 2017 Pacifica. Had to do some juggling with the wiring, but everything bolted right up !
Love the new look !
What was the process and items needed to do the modification to the lower reflectors.
thanks

I have purchased the rear panel and camera mount, but ran into a couple of issues on the install so I just put back everything back to original for now.

The main issues are all related to the back up camera from my 2018.
1. It would not fit properly in both the newer 2021 camera mounting bracket as well as the 2021 back panel.
2. The electrical connector is a different type/shape as well.
3. The camera hole diameter of the new panel is a bit larger than the old panel. The gap is big enough that i was uncomfortable installing it and having the possibility letting water in.
4, Ideally, I didn’t want to buy a new camera as well for another couple hundred dollars. It would seem however if you did purchase the 2021 camera, these issues would be resolved.

So, what did you guys do to jerry rig this setup? And do you happen have the wiring diagram and layout & pinouts for the 4 wire bundle loom on the panel? Thanks for any assistance…

If I recall correctly, I first thought the 2021 camera mount would not work, I may have had to do some slight mod work to it (I cannot remember), but it was no big deal and very minor. Did not notice the diameter being any different and the plug went straight in. I just used a 12v+ source (drill battery) to test the wires on the new panel to find out what was what. Mine is a 2017, but I do not think the camera has changed at all on any model??... Looked online and they use the same part #.

I checked the Mopar parts page as well, camera shows it’s the same part number, but it’s actually not the same. The 2021 camera has a different style connector & harness and the diameter of the hole on the 2021 appliqué is just about 1/8 inch larger than my 2018’s. So I will just rig some 3M bridge wire taps to connect the camera and maybe some sort of rubber washer to fill the gap so water doesn’t come in.

Couple of questions on your install:
You had also mentioned there was no reverse light LED’s inside the appliqué lower portion of panel itself on both sides? But I’ve seen a video of a 21 with them lighting up (attached). I assume if the led’s -are- there, one would just have to tap into one of the old gate reverse lamp feeds, as well as an old tail light feed for the new panel. (It appears there is no brake light function on the new panel).
Also i’m thinking I could just use the existing license plate lights as a 12V feed source for the new panel. Your thoughts?

Just decided to attack the light bar once and for all. Was surprisingly easy, took about 90 minutes. (Mainly because I had taken everything apart once before). Removing the Chrysler emblem on the old panel took up 15-20 minutes of that as i didn’t want to damage it. With hindsight, i might end up purchasing the black Chrysler emblem in the future to better match the panel and my black paint color.

I chose to just do the middle panel and leave the old corner lights in place. So the total cost was only $500 for the camera bracket and the led middle light bar. The only apology on the entire install was the camera, it just didn’t fit well for a number of reasons and it ended up a titch canted to one side and sticking out a bit, but not worth buying a newer one.

On the wiring, I salvaged the 3 wire loom with plug from the left side led/back up assembly. On the new led bar there are 3 wires as well all the same color on both. So cut both sides and spliced the matching 3 wires red/white/black.

On the led light bar you have to remove the entire loom and plastic wire assembly. You also need to take out the new license plate light assemblies that come with the panel and reuse the old ones from the old middle panel. (The wire connectors are different).

The camera just did not fit perfect for a number of factors, but i ended up using a piece of Victor tire plug to wrap around the inside of the camera to keep it water tight from the larger hole diameter in the new panel.

So all in all, no need to tap any other voltage sources, very easy to do and quite rewarding, the led light bar and the old rear marker lights line up very well imo.

One's for sale on eBay. Entire rear assembly for the liftgate, costs $650. I want it for my 2018, but not "$650 want it!"

# 68424932AB # 68531465AA # 68526304AA # 68424931AB On the corner lights you need to switch over the black and white wires on the plug. The center you may have to figure out on your own as I already had a park light 12v feed on a vrelay back there for my LED strip which I tapped into. Tapped into the reverse light wiring for the back up LED's.

No panel mods. Everything goes on and bolts through the same holes !
Looks like I didn't pay attention when ordering off ebay. Left tail light has a AA on the end of part #. Mopar doesnt sell this online either. Is this an older one? Major difference is the clear plastic cover as apposed to a frosted kind of look on the Right side light (68424932AB).

I need to order the AB, not AA, right? I do like the clear look but I guess that is an older version?

I attempted this install today. Center went in great and used the advice to salvage the harness off the old center left light to tap into the parking lights.

Unfortunately I could not get any lights to come on the tail lights however. The harness was identical but no turn signal, parking lights nor brake lights. Does anyone know if there is a dealer setting for LED lights?

The old camera did not fit the new led light bar assembly properly even with either the new or old mounting bracket, so I just adapted it to fit. The new Led light bar mini-wire harness included in the new assembly had a totally different camera plug not compatible with the old camera and I wasn’t about to spend $250+ for another new camera.

So you currently have the old camera in there to occupy the space but it's non functional. Correct?

bringing up an old topic!!!

I received a set of lights from Mopar the other day from the 2022 model and decided to install them on the 2018 model... Unfortunately, before ordering I did not consider - so much I wanted to have these lights - that I have a car for the European market and has a yellow bulb in the corner sector - :(((

the new lights have no yellow sector at all, we have an interesting and fascinating job to install American parts on a European car -:)))
