I have this exact problem with our 2022 that was built this December. This must be a known issue, my 2018 did not do this. @ChryslerCares please have your engineering look at this, I could not have explained the problem better than the original post.
From what I can see is this happens more often when:
1- The vehicle is plugged into a L2 evse
2- Put into Run without foot on the brake
3- Left in Run for 15 minutes
4- Then turned OFF and let to charge fully
All this while the evse stays plugged in. I have a SunCountry (Clipper creek) evse.
