Mostly looking to confirm that the Pacifica's schedule only effects charging with Level 2.

I don't have a Level 2 charger yet and no matter how I set the schedule when I plug in the Level 1 charger it starts charging. Do I have an issue? or will the schedule work correctly when I connect Level 2 charger.

Why would you use the schedule? Just plug it in. No need for a level 2 with a hybrid. Its a waist of money.

I think your response is a tad skewed . A level 2 charger has multiple benefits vs a level 1 . If your wanting to spend less on gas and utilize the battery side a level 2 offers the most value . If you don’t drive , want to use more gas than electricity , don’t care about plugging in for 10-12 hrs then stick with the free one . Some people have 2 vehicles that use the level 2 and time is a factor as well . So to you level 2 is a waste but to other people it’s value added , just saying .

Georgia Power offers a Plug-in Electric Vehicle Rate. The rate is 90% less in the overnight hours (take a look at this chart) than summer afternoon hours. I bought the Hybrid to lower my carbon footprint and this is basically step 2.

My gripe with the built-in scheduler is that if you plug in after the schedule starts (before it stops), it won't start charging, meaning you need to manually start charging via pushing the "Charge Now" button on the radio, or initiate charging through the UConnect app.

For example, we have our schedule to start at 8pm and end at 7am the following morning (actually two schedules, 8p-12a and 12a to 7a). If I get home at 9pm and plug in the van, it'll wait until the 12a-7a schedule even though it's been plugged in during the 8p-12a schedule.

One would think it should work that if you plug in any time a charging schedule is active, it'd start charging.....
