Hey there, We just picked up a 2022 hybrid limited with theater package, but we are having usb issues. We had a 2017 pacifica with the theater package and we used our usb full of mp4 videos all the time. After buying this car we put that same usb into this car and it says no media detected. This car has 3 usbs up front: rear, 1, and 2. "Rear" doesn't even detect a usb is inserted, "1" detects the usb -- detects and plays mp3s -- but doesn't detect any mp4s, and the "2" port doesn't detect that any usb is detected.

I have read many many forum posts trying to find a solution, and even though our usb worked on our 2017 model, i've made new usbs with ntfs, fat32, different sizes of mp4s, different resolutions, etc. and nothing changes; no media detected.

Any idea what i can do to troubleshoot this?
Appreciate the help

I've had this issue myself. format to fat32 and set video resolution to 720p solved mine. then ended up getting a new usb drive to address the slowness of loading times especially when getting accessed by both screens at same time.

Same issue. My USB drive worked perfectly in my Honda pilot but odd the chrysler infotainment system didn't recognize it. Would suck if all my vids need to be converted to 720p.

USB port marked 'rear' is the only one that will play videos to the entertainment centre. Had similar issues with my 2022 hybrid Ltd not playing videos and found that it worked perfectly if I ran videos through the software 'Handbrake' which is available for free online. I believe most of us had to convert it to 720p? There are a lot of posts on this site that deal with this problem. That being said, it could also be a wiring harness problem at the usb port. Hope you get it to work. All else fails a trip to the service department is in order.

I kinda wiggled the my samsung 128gb usb drive till the rear screen asked to format the drive. I selected to format the drive to be used in other applications. Then i reloaded the usb drive. Then it recognized my files. Hope this helps
