Hello!

We just took home a 23’ Touring L. I looked on the website bc I wanted to build my car and then pick it up at the dealer. On the website it says front parking assist camera is standard. It’s not a feature on my car. I have Animals and little kids and all the camera and parking sensors I can get I want. Plus, it helps with parking in general.
I’m frustrated. Should I take it back and get one with that? I’m so shocked that I’m the website it says it’s standard yet the one I was doesn’t have it. I just bought it yesterday.
Is this normal? I’d love some advice! Thank you!

The parking assist feature does not have a camera. It just uses sonar sensors in the bumpers and beeps and displays information on the driver information display to show how close you are getting to whatever you are getting close to. The only way to get the front camera is with the 360 display option. I believe that is included with the Safety Sphere option, although that feature has been getting deleted from many of the new vehicles because of the chip shortage.
Thanks for the reply! I don’t even have beeps for the front. :( I’ve turned the park assist on and off. I’ve tried everything. Looking at the cars front, I don’t even see any circled sensors.

Yes it is getting deleted I think. The problem is I purchased this vehicle and the standard equipment on the website is front park assist& parallel assist etc. but when I got the car it didn’t have it! The dealer is now telling me basically it’s not their fault. The Chrysler website is “3rd party” I’m really frustrated.

I'm speaking about the camera on the front grill. On the Touring L's I saw, they all had safety sphere delete credits and that camera was only used for auto pedestrian avoidance, it couldn't be viewed in the UConnect screen. Even though the same camera is used as front camera when you have the 360 cameras, kinda frustrating to be honest.

Most likely the original poster missed the credit on the window sticker for the safety sphere delete. My dealer couldn't properly explain was then safety sphere actually removed.

Another common item that has been deleted in recent years are folding mirrors, which mine had a credit for.

To confirm if you were credited for some options, the window sticker can be viewed if you add your VIN at the end of this URL: https://www.chrysler.com/hostd/windowsticker/getWindowStickerPdf.do?vin=
There is no credit on the window sticker. I took it to a separate dealer to double check. Do I ask for the credit now?

That option wasn’t even available on the website to ADD the safety sphere since it was even available bc it was supposed to be standard. Thank you for directing me to those customers in similar situations.
