As expected, few surprises are outlined in the recent 2023 Pacifica Media Releases. Forget a return of the Tri-Pane sunroofs, new heads up displays, UCONNECT updates, more interior color schemes options, etc., but the Factory Tow Package option formally returns for lesser ICE only model trims. No highlights nor photos introducing any new feature innovations nor any reductions of current offerings. Perhaps those are being saved for the anticipated 2024 Pacifica replacement after the Windsor, Ontario Assembly Plant is updated to start building BEV people movers of the future ?

Why would you invest into something that is going away , has low volume production and currently has no other phev vehicles to compete against . We all know that Jeep will be only one with tripane ( grand Wagoneer ) and you know that somethings have to be exclusive for $$$$$ . Why do you thing that dodge gets supercharge motor , okay ram does but we all know why ram got it . So expect status quo , new paint and really that’s it . And I heard that low line model entry level Pacifica “ grand caravan “ will be fleet only in 23 .

I know that you are right about Chrysler likely forgoing further investment in the minivan segment as they sunset their entire current lineup of offerings. The ‘22’s added optional Amazon Fire TV and the pandemic inspired N95 cabin filtration. Chrysler could have conceived and thrown out at least one new bone per model year going forward. Re-offering the old tri-pane or bumming heads up displays from the Jeeps as a minivan first in the form of added cost options would have been low cost. Since PHEV and AWD w/Stow ‘n Go didn’t generate a boom in added sales, they might as well move on. Really glad that I got my Pacifica when I did.

You won’t see the tri pane make a return and putting heads up display , electronic rear view mirror , etc all add costs to the vehicle . The business case on this vehicles explains about volume, costs , and we know that they won’t hits volume build as the plant isn’t on the top of the food chain. The Jeep gladiator 4xe should be next vehicle in that phev category , so I like the Pacifica ehybrid but I’d also know that the days of the 3.6 are also numbered .

Call me confused, but why do people expect Chrysler to introduce new features in the same/current line? The current Pacifica will stay pretty much the same until the next generation is introduced. The only reason 2022 has Amazon TV is because it didn't make it to the 2021 and they kept the old ones for that year when the facelift happened. Usually the changes would be regarding some trickle down technology or feature, but for 2021 they made a lot of those already standard and with the chip shortage doubt they want to even bring more to entry level models.

True, given the next gen push, nobody really expects to see further Pacifica model refreshes or redesigns. However, historically most OEMs commonly offer up something new and/or improved, albeit minor, to differentiate one model year to the next. Chrysler has followed suit traditionally by retaining their “What’s New for Model Year XXXX ?” section in their annual model year media releases. 2022 changes also included a regrouping of standard features, packages and added cost options at each trim level that went along with pricing increases. Since nothing significant will be changing for the 2023 models, we’ll just have to wait and see if that also includes holding the line on pricing.

Did something change in the 2023 Pacifica, I know it's kind of a petty thing but the backup camera in the new Pacifica's are cyan in color and not very clear. I checked other vehicle's and they are the same. Is there a fix. I called Chrysler headquarters and customer service didn't have any answers for me.

No I do not. However that being said, I'm finding out this is a known problem.
