First post here. Not sure if this is the correct area. We ordered a new 2023 Touring L in late January and picked it up yesterday. Our trade in was a 2017 Touring L, which had the Homelink on the driver's visor. But the 2023 Touring L doesn't have a Homelink on the visor, or anywhere else that I can find. When did Chrysler stop including Homelink on a Touring L?

Congrats on your new Pacifica ! I haven’t been seen a 2023 up close and personal yet, but maybe check your window sticker and build sheets by VIN number to see if there’s any line item feature deletion credit. Perhaps Homelink is a residual chip shortage causality or due to parts shortages, they decided to begin restricting that feature to the Limiteds and Pinnacles ?

According to the 2023 Feature List published when the 2023 model year was announced early last fall, ”Universal garage door opener — programmable, three function”, what most would know as Homelink, it was originally supposed to be standard on all 2023 models and trim levels.

The Universal Garage Door Opener (aka Homelink) isn't listed on the window sticker of the 2023 Touring L. However the Universal Garage Door Opener (aka Homelink) also isn't listed on the window sticker of my 2017 Touring L that I traded in, but it had that feature. This is the sixth Chrysler minivan I've owned with the first being an 89 Voyager. This 2023 Touring L is the first one that didn't include the UGDO/Homelink. I never dreamed that this feature would not be included in the 2023 Touring L line, and I never saw an option to include it when the order was being put together.

Hi davemcddd,
Welcome to the Forum & Congratulations on your new 2023 Pacifica Touring L. I'm sure it's beautiful. Hopefully you'll still be able to find the Universal Garage Door Opener (aka Homelink) hiding somewhere? If not, simply go old school & either leave a remote inside your minivan or take one with. I understand your frustration though. Certainly not the end of the world by any stretch, IMO. Cheer up, you just got your gorgeous, brand spanking new ride :). Best of Luck!

ALWAYS disappointing blindly getting stiffed on a long standing feature that you’ve always received and preferred. Just another two thumbs down FCA move disenchanting a dwindling loyal customer base. Other than returning to a separate remote, you might also consider asking your dealer or a local repair shop for a price to retrofit your visor with a new one that has Homelink or go DIY. Search this Community for “Homelink” and you’ll find a few related posts where the biggest issue after buying a Homelink equipped visor, seems to be where to pickup the power to the Homelink and if you want it always on or only powered as a switched accessory.

I think instead of blaming whomever you probably didn’t do your homework and just assumed . All manufacturers are changing options , packages , and features yearly . Clearly it’s stated in print under what’s standards on each model specifically, just saying .

There's also numerous Mobile Smart Phone Apps for opening garage doors. Might be better than a remote or HomeLink anyway. Here's some Smart Phone Garage Door Opener APPs
to consider: GogoGate, MyQ, GarageMate, GarageSmart, Garadget, etc..

A change like that could also have been caused by supply chain issues with semiconductors when the features for each trim were being decided. If they didn’t think they could get enough for every van, obviously you’d save that for the higher trim levels. They may have wanted it on every trim, but couldn’t make it happen.

You're, I think, the 3rd or 4th person on here to notice/complain about the lack of the Homelink unfortunately
Part/chip shortages are still a thing and they pulled it from the lower trim

2023 Touring L also lost the roof rack. Only 2023 Pacifica models w/ roof racks are Limited, Pinnacle & Road Tripper Touring L. So glad I got mine end of 2022!

Luckily adding the roof rack after the fact on a Pacifica is very straight forward.
Agreed but still requires new owners to spend more $ to add deleted accessories/equipment. The unfortunate end result for 2023 Pacifica Touring L (non Road Tripper Touring L) owners is they paid more for their new 2023 Pacifica & wound up w/o Homelink, Roof Rack & probably a few other deletes as well.
Chrysler would have been better off listing HomeLink & Roof Rack as optional equipment upgrades for the 2023 Pacifica Touring L then to simply delete them. At least that way 2023 Touring L owners wouldn't be surprised to find out their more expensive new vans came w/o these missing features.

As always the most important part of a vehicle purchase is your pre-purchase inspection, and a careful examination of the window sticker.

I agree that the decontenting of trims after MY2021 stinks. If I had to replace my 2021 Hybrid Touring L Plus with the equivalent trim now I’d be missing a bunch of stuff we really like! And I’d have to pay more for it! The 2021 Pacificas were the last year before all the supply chain stuff happened and the cost cutting started and the prices increased. At least in Canada the price of the Hybrids had remained stable in order to qualify for the government incentive.

My 2022 Pachy Touring L (delivered Nov 2922) did include the Homelink and also was included on the 03A recall list...I have not experienced a loss of power and I did get the software "warning" bandaid update.

Just like the power folding mirrors. And that is a non-starter for me!

Our experience has been that Homelink does not have as much range as other openers. So even though we have Homelink on two of our three vehicles, including our 2017 Pacifica, we prefer standard remotes for their superior range.

These vans peaked with the 2021 model year. Vans came with most features and best configurable options. Every year since is worse and worse. I've moved on to looking at Pilots. Keep waiting to see the road tripper van on website, but something tells me that won't happen. I see the gas Pinnacle isn't even on the website anymore.

I know that 2021 was last year for the Tri panel Panoramic Sunroof my 2022 only has the Dual Panoramic Sunroof but 2022 also included a new Cabin Air Filtration System and Amazon Fire Tv that 2021 doesn't have. What else does 2021 have that 2022 deleted? I think other than the 3 pane Sunroof delete & 2022's new Cabin Air Filtration/Amazon Fire Tv everything else is the same?
