We love our Pacifica Hybrid and have taken her to the beach twice and camping in the last few months. I use zero gas other than these long trips. After spinning the tires pulling out into wet roads the van has stalled lost all power to move itself and had to be stopped in park and turned off and restarted to get back on the road. Was dangerous both times as I had to full stop in the wet road and put the trans in park turn off and on. Any suggestions or common experiences? Need to get into a dealer for rear hatch software fix anyway.

So explain . So your spinning tires the trac should engage to stop the tire slippage . If you continue to push down on the accelerometer the brakes do stop the power being transferred to the front wheels . So if you sense tire slippage you should ease of the accelator and should also start in L on slippery road conditions . Is there any codes being throw on the dashboard ?
