I would expect that the Pacifica will be using a standard J1772 connection for their EVSE connection (charger connection)
I haven't seen anything in the reviews about it being proprietary like the Tesla. So I would assume that it can be plugged in to any EVSE (charger) - just like a Leaf or Volt or such.
And if it can be used with any of the commercial chargers you find in so many parking lots these days I would expect basically any EVSE would work (any standard-compliant one - which they all will be, except the ones for Teslas)

I would like to know what is the max current/power the Pacifica can take. (Can it do [email protected]? 40A? More?)

I am thinking about getting the openEVSE 50D or P50S with included J1772 cable. Today with 15% off code it's ~$352 if you assemble it yourself(50D bundle) and ~$408 with no assembly required (just have to have a 240V outlet in spot you want to install)
That'll give [email protected] - which is 9.6kW.

Looking good. Unless it is significantly faster and better, I am wondering how many will buy the Mopar 220V charging option for $2,500....
What's the invoice on that though?

If the invoice is $800, I can see the salesman adds it on, gives the buyer a $1500 "dealer discount" on the whole package and the dealer makes $200 and the buyer thinks he's getting a great deal.

Or if the invoice / actual cost is even lower some people will go with it because then the buyer doesn't have to worry about the finger pointing - "It's not the car's fault, it's the EVSE" vs. "It's not the EVSE fault it's the car"
