So how is the dash cover held in place?
Are you talking about the actual dash in the van? Or a dashmat that is the cover as an accessory? I have put these dashcovers made by dashmat on all my cars for the last 25 years to protect the dash and cut the sun glare..... they are attached with a few velcro pieces. I have a limited, so I do not think the limited was affected like the others as the dash material is different???? If I had been one of the ones affected I would rather just buy the dashmat instead of having the dealer "change" out the whole dash that requires taking so much apart! The dash assemblies are put together first then the whole thing is installed in the van.....

These are pictures from my dash.

I've only seen/felt 2 bumps so far.

Hi all, I have them also. No idea if they can do something about them.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to post a quick update, both the brand and our engineering team are aware of this concern and are investigating further. I will share any information I receive on this thread!

So this is on the Limited as well? I "assumed" that since the dashes were of different material between the Limited and the lower trims, that the Limited's dash was not affected........Guess I need to lift up my dashmat and take a look.

Apparently so. But the bubble on mine is not above the Uconnect screen as others have reported. Mine is on the passenger's side of the dash.

I have the same bubble issue on the passenger side. Limited trim as well. When you press on it, it goes down and you hear a sound like when you remove a tape. So I assume it's not glued properly. As someone said, I am not going to have the entire dash removed just for this. I will just leave it as is and let them know when I go for the next service. Mine is a leased one, I was thinking of buying at the end of the lease. But now, with some of the issues I have (especially the interior loudness), I will return it at the end of the lease, and maybe stick with Odyssey.

If you dig around on here you will see there have been issues in the past with Limiteds where the "leather" dash cover separates from the dash. The dealer should be able to re-glue it to eliminate the bump(s).

This issue is discussing bumps on the plastic dash of non-limiteds.

Our bubble/bubbles are in the same area on passenger side. Feels like air is trapped between the dash layers. Ours is the limited trim as well.

Same issue as it’s the same dash, we have a limited and the dash is definitely not leather.

So the dash of Limited model is not leather....? I always thought it was leather. Then it must be some synthetic blended leather like most cars have these days.

Doesn't seem like leather at all to me. It's some kind of plastic/rubber soft touch material.

Nope. The last time I was at the dealer, they took a picture of it and I never heard anything back.

I have these dash bumps on my 2017 Touring-L. I do not remember seeing them when I bought it, but they seem to have developed in the last month or so. I am also hesitant to let someone replace my dash unless they get worse. But I am curious if there has been any resolution to this issue.

Same here on Platinum Hybrid. It?s hardly noticeable so far and only appears to be one, but could have been the afternoon sunlight making it difficult to see others. I?m not worried about it and also rather leave it than having the dash replaced.
