I have had no way of verifying this since i am driving but does anyone know whether brake lights come on when adaptive cruise control automatically brakes for you ? I assumed they would but want to confirm. thx .

The simplistic answer is, "do the brake lights come on when you let off of the gas?" But then I remember reading somewhere on there that the brakes are applied to slow the vehicle down with ACC. So, for gas savings, decelerating would be the best way to go about it. For emergencies, brake pedal. If it was an emergency, brake lights would have to be applied. At least, that's my reasoning through deduction. Would like to know the answer to this too.
