Has anyone noticed their airconditioning not working as good as when it was new.It might be that the weather has cooled off into the 70s from whenI got it it was in the high 90s and very humid out.I leave it set on 70 and sometimes the air is not very cold. When I first got it it would freeze you out but not now.

No change in mine but still in the 90s here. Much better AC than my Genesis Coupe.

No degradation here at all - check that you're still set to "AUTO" as I found that if my wife (inadvertently) pressed something that overrode the "AUTO" setting, it would not feel as cool - that, and if any passengers in the rear overrode the rear settings as well. Once I got all of them back in-sync with the main controls, it was back to being a frozen tundra upon command. :)

We're still in the 100 +/-, and well over that the past few weeks and our Pacifica cools down quicker than any other vehicle that we've owned, (except for our Avalanche, which I doubt could ever be beat for instant cold air). I use the manual settings since I'm frequently changing the blower settings when I see my wife fooling around with the vents on her side meaning, "honey, it's too cold in here".

We purchased our Pacifica Touring on Labor Day. Within 24 hours we noticed the A/C would not blow cool air. We took it back to the dealership where we purchased. After keeping it for a few days, they told us the system needed to be updated and the issue was resolved. Within 30 mins of driving it home from the service department, we noticed the issue had not been resolved. We took it back AGAIN and this time they kept it for 1 month and we were told that the compressor needed to be replaced. Since then, the A/C remains cool. But just an FYI to everyone, when we took our van in to get other issues looked at AGAIN at another dealership, we were told that the A/C compressor is becoming an issue on Pacifica vans.

It is so amazing the difference in dealers, some have attitudes and others are quite helpful after all aren't they getting reimbursed from Chrysler for their time. I think that we should mention the dealer names (good or bad) when mentioning the treatment we get. Thanks for the heads up on the potential compressor issue.

I feel that the evaporator is freezing and obstructing the cold air from free flowing in my car. while the car is freshly started in the AM after driving for an extended period or the van is left idling, the volume of air from the vents has diminished considerably. The dealer has had the car several times. So in my car, if your driving more than an hour, the air from the vents is half what it was at the beginning of the trip.
